The Salvation Army organised the first ‘Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Inclusive Education Forum’ in Macau in two consecutive dates (6-7 November), with the theme of ‘Harmony in Diversity - Prospects of Inclusive Education Theory and Practice’. The forum invites expertise of inclusive education from Hong Kong, Macau and Guangdong Province to exchange views and knowledge in the field. To start the forum, a kick-off ceremony was launched on 6 November with the support from the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of Macau, The Special Education Committee of GuangDong Education Association, City University of Macau, and more. The forum has attracted over 200 scholars, expertise and teachers from the three regions to share their knowledge on inclusive education. In addition to that, the forum also invites scholars and expertise to submit their papers and research on several topics, including polices and development for inclusive education, evaluation on rehabilitation, curriculum and teaching, and more.
