The Salvation Army launches the "Community Housing Movement - To Kwa Wan Project"
Application is now available for Families and Youth

(12 October 2018, Hong Kong) The Salvation Army is the commissioned service operator for the "Community Housing Movement - To Kwa Wan Project". It is expected that the project will kick start and first household will move in in November 2018. Through our holistic service in the district, including family support, church and community services, The Salvation Army aims to support the social housing tenants to build a neighbourhood network, to strengthen their problem solving abilities, and to integrate and contribute back to the community. The Salvation Army believes that the experience in operating transitional housing, such as the “Sunrise House”, has well equipped us with the ability to understand and serve the needs of grass-roots tenants. The Salvation Army is now recruiting tenants from grass-roots families (with priority to single parent families) and low-income young people.
